Evil Stalks the Kitchen

There's something wrong with my refridgerator. Not just wrong, but Wrong. Whatever I leave in there becomes... tainted. There's no strange smells or anything from the fridge itself, but an odd... flavor, or scent, taints anything that sits in it for more than a day or so, no matter how well sealed. Food gets a strange mildewy overtone, while drinks just get bitter. Sealed pop cans even get bitter.

But the cake... is immune. Thus proving that it's already pure evil, perhaps.

When I set my watch back an hour for daylight savings time, I also corrected the minutes, which had drifted a full 15 minutes forwards. Now that my watch gives more or less accurate time, I can no longer shift fifteen minutes into the future or past at will. I've chained myself once more to the inexorable grinding of the great wheel.

I guess I could set it fast again, but that just feels like it would be cheating. I hate my conscience.
