Oct. 28th, 2002 05:30 pmWhen I set my watch back an hour for daylight savings time, I also corrected the minutes, which had drifted a full 15 minutes forwards. Now that my watch gives more or less accurate time, I can no longer shift fifteen minutes into the future or past at will. I've chained myself once more to the inexorable grinding of the great wheel.
I guess I could set it fast again, but that just feels like it would be cheating. I hate my conscience.
