Yeah, I forgot a session again.

Well, that's not quite true. I didn't forget, I remembered several times, but when I went to actually write it down it was like 'meh'. So anyway, the next two sessions:

We accidentally raided Pride and accidentally rescued the people in Greed )

We stopped there because basically everyone had had to leave at that point. Actually, a ways before that point. v.v

So... I forgot a session again, damn it. So -- here's a brief recap of the last two session of the Pathfinder campaign.

TLDR; We raided Lust and Gluttony )

Phoof: "Why isn't anyone else sad that Elyssie is dead?"
Kaito: "I'm sure we'll find a way to bring her back. Just maybe not in here."
Zeddicus: "Sorry for not being a real cleric, but I wanted to play a *fun* character."
Altei: "Does this mean she'll have to play one of the succubi now?"

Saturday we played more Pathfinder, continuing on through the Runeforge.

And just barely getting through one wing out of seven. )

Afterwards, we looked at our options and apparently there's no way to cure insanity without a high-level cleric or an even higher level wizard -- bards, paladins, and magi don't count. We did find a scroll of Limited Wish that should work, but it sucks to have to use it up on something like this.

Apparently I forgot to log the last session again, so this is two sessions' worth, although honestly nothing much happened between the two of them since they were both spent entirely in combat rounds.

Even the parts that as far as the party knew weren't in combat. )

The takeaway from this session was:
(a) being woken up in the middle of the night sucks, although in a dungeon you sort of have to expect it
(b) trying to coordinate a party of eight invisible people as they sneak past a patrol four times faster than them is both tedious and frustrating
(c) Enemies getting infinite duration round/level spells is also kind of frustrating -- I'm pretty sure their haste and displacement spells lasted at least five minutes.

Saturday we played more Pathfinder, continuing our quest to enter the Runeforge.

But first... )

We stopped about an hour into the fight, having not managed to even burn through a single enemy's mirror images, although they hadn't really managed to hurt us either. Ugh. x.x

Last weekend we played some Pathfinder, and I forgot to write down what happened again. Let me fix that.

The exciting part involved a ritual... )

We played some more Pathfinder yesterday, finishing up with the misty temple of Llamashtu.

Also, what happened at the end of the previous session )

Kaito also had to go track down his missing girlfriend but we didn't actually figure that out -- he isn't a tracker and Shalalu was still hunting down the harpies.

Last week we played some more Pathfinder and I forgot to write a summary again. This time I remembered before the next session at least?

TLDR we got shop-blocked )

Anyway, I don't remember what happened at the very end of the session but I suspect there was going to be a fight or something.

Oops.

Apparently it's been a while since I remembered to write a summary for the Pathfinder game. We've had... I think... three sessions since the last one?

Let's see if I can remember what happened )

Yesterday we played some Pathfinder, sneaking deeper into the giants' lair.

'Sneaking' )

It's not like the exits vanished, though, so they might be able to defeat the room by leaving it.

Yesterday we played some Pathfinder, continuing to sneak around underneath the giants' fortress.

Surprisingly effectively... )

After the game Tom suddenly remembered that the Lamia were supposed to be draining wisdom 'with all their attacks' which would have been *kind of a big deal* since Kaito's wisdom is really low and Elyssie's monk powers rely on hers. Looking it up, though, they only drain wisdom with one of their five attacks so it wouldn't have made much of a difference -- the only key will save (against the petrify) was a sort that Kaito could make using charisma.

So it turns out I forgot to do a writeup for the game two weeks ago. Well, we had another one yesterday, so I'll try to sum up both.

basically, we ran away and then turned around and snuck into the enemy's castle )

It's been a long time since the party was able to go shopping for anything better than healing potions, and it's really starting to show -- their armor class is so low compared to the enemies that it might as well not even exist, and the only one who can 'tank' is Kaito, using temp hp and damage resistance.

At least Phoof's buffs keep their offense relevant!

Saturday we played some Pathfinder, continuing the rescue attempt for the people kidnapped by giants during the attack on Sandpoint.

Tracking people faster than you is hard. )

Saturday we (finally) played some more Pathfinder, continuing the fight to defend Sandpoint.

We defended part of it, at least? )

We stopped there, with some mop up left to do. The dragon was an obvious distraction but a *really good one* since he was distracting us from the giants taking prisoners by *burning down entire buildings* with people inside them. Hard to say that focusing on him was the wrong choice.

Saturday we had a short session of Pathfinder. We started late because of Community Day and later because of traffic, then had to quit early. We almost got something done at least?

Almost. )

Yesterday we played some Pathfinder (after skipping a session because too many people were gone that week) and demonstrated our very best retreat tactics.

Note that this did not actually result in a retreat. )

Yesterday we played some Pathfinder, continuing our assault on the ogre cave.

Even though we got a message from god saying not to. )

So yeah. We basically ran off in all directions at once and aggro'd everything in sight, just like old times when we had nine people in the party.

This week we finally played some more Pathfinder, trying to clean up the second-to-last loose end (retrieving the body of the Dryad's lover).

We... got to the cave? )

Dam Trolls

Yesterday we played some Pathfinder, finally dealing with the troll tribe occupying the distressingly skull-themed dam.

And for some reason making nice with the ogres we hate. )
