Walking Drunk
Jun. 17th, 2005 11:54 amWalking home drunk didn't make me try to cross the street against traffic. It did make me run more often to catch the button before the light changed. It also made me strip off as much clothing as I thought I could get away with, sing loudly along to the music playing in my headphones, and smile really widely at people.
It was a nice day.
After eventually getting home, I took off *all* my clothes and went swimming in the outdoor pool. Well, after putting on a swimsuit. };)
I'm so out of shape for swimming... it's been years since the weather and maintenance and schedule cooperated to make swimming possible. Still, just swimming back and forth and diving to touch the vent at the bottom of the pool a couple times had me pretty tired.
The water felt really good, but it would have been nice to have someone else there to play with.
