Not *quite* a TPK this time...

We finally had another session of Jeff's Darksun campaign, after over a month. For some reason, we were convinced to go back into the mine to face the force that had killed the previous party. The sole survivor from the last mission did *not* volunteer to go back in...

[sigh] I love spending most of the session unconscious. Especially when the person who could have brought me back up the same round decided to run up and accomplish nothing for five rounds instead.

I-Pod troubles

Or, well, firewire troubles. This happened like, Saturday, but I didn't say anything about it because I wasn't sure who to blame -- Apple? Microsoft? Sony?

It looks like 'Sony' is the weiner. The stupid firewire port stopped working right in the middle of updating the ipod, blue-screened the computer, then refused to recognize the ipod when I rebooted.

I tried various things, but the only thing that eventually worked was getting a USB cable and using that instead. Plus, the apple store was sold out of them, so I had to search around to find one. Sigh.

At least it's working now.
