Tonight was Jeff's Dragonlance game, temporarily moved to Wednesdays to accomodate... somebody. To tell the truth, it's really even better for me, at least until Workaholics start up again and make it impossible.

We did a lot of stupid stuff, mostly advancing the cause of evil. I considered becoming evil to more easily use an unholy item, but stopped when I realized that that's just what the item *wanted*. And Sonnet, once again, almost got herself killed.

Afterwards I stopped and got some 'skinny cow' ice cream. GOD, it was TERRIBLE. For some reason, when I eat it at my sister's, it tastes okay, but the same brand when I but it is downright inedible.

I was playing Zero Mission on my GBA last night before the game (Ed was really really late, and it took a long time to get Luis hooked up) and got stuck -- I was at a point where I'd run all over the map, and found a half dozen missile tanks and the like, but no actual means of making progress. It took about an hour to search the map, really frustrating.

So today I went and looked at a walkthrough. Apparently, I'm supposed to build up a super-charge in a place where it looks like a super-charge would be useless (no visible breakable blocks) then use two special moves documented nowhere in the game or the manual -- a 'super jump' and a 'shinespark'.

So, as of today, I officially hate Metroid, retroactively back through all its versions to the original. May Samus Aran burn in hell forever.

Post a memory of me in the comments. It can be anything you want. Then, of course, post this to your journal and see what people remember of you.
