Multimedia Madness
Apr. 21st, 2004 02:09 pmMy sister told me that the Pixies were back together and either had or were making a new album, so when the traffic was too heavy to actually get to my apartment yesterday after work, I stopped by Best Buy to see if it was out yet.
Not only was it not out yet, but NO Pixies music was for sale. What the hell? They're one of the classics! How can you have three racks of Pink Floyd:The Wall alone, and not even an empty placeholder for the greatest band of all time?
I guess Best Buy is NOT the place to go to get music. I couldn't stop myself from picking up a bunch of DVDs while I was there, though... part five of Final Fantasy Unlimited, and another Slayers OVA, and season 1 of Transformers: Beast Wars, and... some other stuff that I don't even remember. I hope I remember to watch it all. And find time to.
I also got Syberia II, the first computer game I've bought in a long time --since Tron 2.0 and KoToR failed to work, in fact. I hope it works.
And I'm about ready to give up on Magic Workstation. Its network seems to be getting more and more unstable, and I haven't managed to actually play through an entire game in ages. Maybe I should break down and start using Magic Online. Although I'm worried about being out even more money if *it* doesn't work. v.v
