I finished Golden Sun: the Lost Age, and so needed another RPG for the GBA to play while on the toilet etc. Although I still have Advance Wars to fall back on.

But anyway, I bought 'Lufia', and so far it's been... well... it's a mess. )

I don't know if I'll attempt to play it again. Even when it's not making me want to murder its designers, it's kind of slow-paced and boring.

Yeah, so, like, I'm blocked on some code acting bizarrely, so I go to ask the only person who knows anything about it, only he's busy talking to his boss in the hallway. I stand there for a couple seconds trying to judge if they're about finished (always hard to tell) and I should wait, and he tells me to just wait a second and he can help me.

So I wait. For a long time. And then give up and leave. As I leave, he calls out that he'll swing by later to talk to me about it, which of course means he'll completely forget about it and I'll have to go track him down later.

Today was another episode of my Tuesday D+D game that won't... quite... die. It came even closer tonight, egged on by what is, in retrospect, a series of poorly planned encounters, as well as technical difficulties.

game summary )

Halfway through the session -- just before the first fight against the cleric -- Luis lost his voice connection and had to drop out for the night. It was very hard not to kill Abbey with Ed running her.
