Good-Natured Brawling
Mar. 8th, 2003 01:19 amTonight was Chris' scifi Shadake game... people were distracted again, although not as badly -- that is, we eventually did get some sort of game in.
It's hard not to be distracted when playing off a laptop sitting right next to someone playing Morrowind, who lets you install Freelancer off his disk for a demo to see if it'll work on your system (prognosis: yes, it runs very well, and looks like a neat game... but the controls are annoying).
He spent most of the game playing around in Morrowind, leaping tall buildings in a single bound (literally) and selling off 500,000 worth of loot... then dueling vie fisticuffs with a man, training his skill up from 12 to 27 in the process... you know, watching him play makes me want to keep not playing it even more.
But anyway, the RPG we were theoretically there for, yes. ( game summary )
