Bar Hopping

Today was Loxley's online world tree game. The returning explorers were greeted as heroes, and offered another job by the Aberdeen merchant house.

I was distracted for far too long in the middle of the game programming in MUF to fix the die roller to handle stress dice. I need to not do that.

Obsession

Number of games 'in progress' other than AC2 (not counting abandoned and/or uninstalled games not finished): 12
Number of completely unopened games lying about the apartment that aren't AC2: 8
Number of games I actually feel like playing, other than AC2: 0

The net just seems to be getting more and more down, at least WRT AC2, too. Last night I actually got to play for a few hours until the net connection went down, and even when it wasn't working it was getting through the first forty seven steps and failing near the end of the rediculously arcane procedure.... but today it's just 'sorry, you have the wrong password' meaning 'sorry, we can't actually connect to the real authorization server' (since I verified I had the right password by logging in with my passport on passport.net).

Everything else seems to be gradually coming back up, so what's their excuse? I should just uninstall the game, cancel my subscription, and smash the disks to bits against the wall, and get on with my... well, my other games.

Yeah. I'm going to go do that right now.
