This morning I decided to go down to Wonderworld to turn in the order form for... March, I think? That and to pick up any comics from the last week. Little did I know the HORRORS I would face.
The first horror, the one that hit on the way down, was the terrifying, insidious
( drowsiness ) Between the nap I took before setting back out, and restoring the heat, and the... other excitement, I didn't have any trouble staying alert on the way back.
But on the way back up I faced the second horror,
( rain )Once I got home, I played a little Rygar (the PS2 one: It's a cool game, but I'm stuck at a hard part, trying to fight Aristotle without losing all my healing items. Maybe near the end?) and noticed that I'd just missed the first of the Final Four. That is, the last four episodes of Chaotic Century that Cartoon Network had annoyed me by skipping past and starting over. I saw the final three, and they were really neat... the way they defeated the deathsaurer (again) wasn't even a deus ex machina -- they built up to a cheesy dues ex machina ending and then
didn't use it because Van came up with a
sensible plan instead. }:P
Oh, there was also a fire alarm in the apartment complex. I was one of the three or four people who bothered to go outside until it was verified as being false. There've been so many false alarms... lots of people are going to get killed if the building ever actually burns down.
But I don't know any of them, so it's okay.
