Poor decision-making skills. }:P
Apr. 15th, 2003 12:05 pmI decided to go to DJ's birthday party yesterday, but basically chickened out -- I'd have had to cancel a scheduled AC2 session, which I couldn't do until I'd already showed up for it, and at that point I was just too embarassed to actually go through with it. Ah, well.
AC2 went pretty well, though... we hunted some Linvak dillos, then went back to Omishan and did Toad Keep and the Shreth Spawning Pits. Made 32... Terra's now my highest level character.
I started turning on the TV while MUCKing on my laptop to not waste as much cable, and found out that Adult Swim is on weeknights now, apparently. Also caught the Daily Show and South Park (I think South Park might have been Sunday night).
I've now seen the 'Red Eye' episode of Cowboy Bebop three times... it's the only episode I've seen except for the one night Murdock decided to do a marathon (gaah). I hate Cowboy Bebop.
I like Home Movies and Inu Yasha, tho.
Today has been mostly Parking Horror, due to the whole 'remember that I forgot to set the VCR to record Buffy and drive back to my apartment during lunch to set it' thing. People keep leaving work at the oddest times, and not looking behind them while they back up. Almost got hit twice.
And some idiot *honked* at me on the way to work because he hadn't noticed that I'd been in the lane next to him until after he started changing lanes, nearly sideswiping me. I wasn't even in his blind spot -- I was level with him. Fricking minivans.
Lunch today was a grilled cheese and fish soup, because I'd spent some time stopping home to set the VCR and was trying to hurry. The grilled cheese was left sitting on the grill for about five minutes after it was ready, while the grill person asked other people what they wanted and chopped vegetables and things. The fish soup was actually potato soup mislabeled. Well, okay, it had a few bits of fish in it, but not enough to taste. At least it didn't have any *bones* like the last time I got fish there. Fish bones creep me out. What do fish need bones for anyway?
