Lumbering Terrarry was more successful than Iron Terrarry in penetrating the Dank Empyrian Crypt, but still not actually, you know, successful. We (me and my shreth, which is like a beetle only it double-strikes and has lots more hit points) got within sight of the treasure chest, but were mobbed by at least a dozen Reeshan and Browerk Burun. I think I killed three, but it was really hopeless.

I considered asking a few level-appropriate people in my allegiance for help, but decided that since I had to go to work in fifteen minutes there probably wasn't time.

In other news, Freelancer finally showed up in the company store. Someone posted to the group that 'a few' were on the shelves, so I rushed right down there... by 'a few' they apparently meant 'sixty or seventy'. But I have it now, so ha.

I've also been really slacking as far as setting up the next session of D+D. As in, I haven't even started yet. I could just wing it and do random dungeon encounters as they navigate through the forest, maybe throw in a trap or a chasm or a small dungeon or something...

...nah. That'd be boring. I'm thinking, 'friendly' group of underdark pixies to lead off with... the 'friendly' salamanders' insidious trap looks like it's failed, which means the party probably sees them as actually having been friendly. This is bad! I'll have to make this one more drastic so as to properly scare them.

Not sure where to go from there. We have a giant mushroom forest with a city on the far side. Spiders? Yeeessss... spiders. Mua ha ha ha. Maybe some driders too.

And of course, the city they see mustn't be the city they're expecting to find. That would be too easy. OTOH, they need to get rid of the civilians sooner or later. Hmm.
