Been playing AC2 lately mostly with Speckles on Solclaim, starting new characters... he's going archer/enchanter (Flyken) and I'm probably going mage/sorcerer eventually (Terra). We're up to level 20, even though we couldn't do drudge potion or Dantry's quests because we hadn't done the percursors. Going back to the isle of tears and fighting all the damn secret drudge militia is not appealing at level 20.

But in general... you know? It's how it always is. In a way it's more fun to have someone around to do stuff with, but it's also... so... annoying... or maybe part of that is feeling useless because as a mage I can generally only hit the enemy with vigor-hungry specials. Which they evade constantly.

Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter continues to be a lot of fun, although the save system and D-Counter are annoying. If I find out I'm going too slowly and racking up the points too fast, I'm not going to start over. Starting over is never fun. But I don't think I am.

Master of Orion III continues to be its own quirky self. The planets continue to build themselves up, but the AI won't autobuild any actual star-ships... I guess I could take over the military queues and make them build useful ships instead of just fortifying everything. It'd be annoying since it's soooo many clicks to do that for each planet -- double click the star, then double click the planet, then click to bring up economics w/ the queue on it, then click to expand the military queue, then select the latest autobuilt useless item, then delete it, then click the item you want to build instead, then select the quantiry, then add it, then hit minus twice to get back to the main screen... 11 easy steps! Each of which has a 1-second delay as it animates the transition!

Also, I have a cold.
