terryclothI joined an Allegiance on Asheron's Call 2 sort of for the hell of it, swearing fealty to 'Kurge'. Grouping is nice, and an allegiance is one way to keep track of people and re-group when you log on again later.
Unfortunately, none of the alternate chat channels were working for me or Jabal, another member of the group, and while I was trading him a breastplate I'd crafted, everyone else ran off. Obviously, those racist humans deliberately ditched the two Tumerocks.
Without chat, we had no way of finding the others, so we were stranded in the middle of a really nasty area, and eventually (although it took a while... we could handle most of the stuff) both got killed and logged off.
Oh, I found out how to drastically improve AC2's performance (with my crappy drivers)! Play it in a window! The mouse cursor stops acting weird, and I can increase resolution to 1280x1024 without really affecting performance. It's geometry that slows down my card, not rendering.
