terryclothI met the worst GM in the world today, at WotC at the mall. I haven't played in his group is years, ever since I quit over him throwing me out because I was threatening to quit, after the big nasty argument about XP distribution and the percentage of same going to his friend's attractive wife.
Anyway, he told about how a couple months after I left the entire group disintegrated (as I'd predicted at the time) and I tried not to gloat. Then we talked about various game systems... he wanted to do superheroes, so I recommended Nobilis (which I thought would suit him) and BESM (which I thought would drive him crazy), but he wanted something more genre-specific.
He was also looking for games with interesting mechanics, so I showed him Ironclaw, but he was turned off instantly as soon as he saw it had anthropomorphics.
He also hinted at wanting to start a group and potentially inviting me. I don't think I still hate him, but I'd rather pry my own eyes out with a spoon than game with him again. So I said 'maybe'. }:P He was probably only doing it to be polite anyway.
