Glowbugs Chapter 24

terryclothThis is another short chapter. I wasn't going to end the chapter here, but it was SUCH a good place to end a chapter that I couldn't resist. Hopefully, this doesn't mean the next chapter will start with a three-page bit glommed on to a full sized chapter. I don't think it will.
In this chapter, we return to Captain Era of the UNE planetary bombardment frigate Gentle Rain, currently assigned as an escort to the Sky Net on lease to the CEC under Admiral Brendon. In the middle of a boring meeting in the middle of a boring patrol, something happens!
There were originally going to be waffles, but I cut that scene out because it didn't make sense after some other edits I did. NO WAFFLES FOR YOU!
