Glowbugs Chapter 23

terryclothThis is a short chapter. Originally, it was going to be the last two or three scenes of the previous chapter, but they both went long. Also, it took a while to write, and the previous chapter seemed rather chapter-ish.
So, in this second-half-of-a-chapter, Jink wakes up in strange surroundings, repaired by people she doesn't know (very well), who have uncertain motives and very little respect for the until-recently-dead.
As you can probably guess, it all ends in tears. Or at least, with lots of webbing.
