Not waking up at 5:30 AM -- I wasn't really sleeping very well anyway, so it was easy to wake up. I got to the hospital around 6:30... the check in desk didn't even open until 6:50.
No, the ultrasound itself was unpleasant. It shouldn't have been -- I had to get shirtless, and let a woman rub gelatinous goo all over my body, then poke me here and there with the sensor wand...
...except that it *hurt*. Because, you know, I'm actually kind of sick. There was one spot where it made me really nauseous to be poked, and one spot that was just outright painful, and I'm sure it wasn't a coincidence that those were the two spots she dwelled on, taking reading after reading...
I still don't know what's wrong with me. Supposedly they'll send the results to my doctor and he'll tell me what's going on. Bleargh.
