Signs and Portents:

terrycloth1: I woke up horribly, horribly tired and exhausted, and had to sleep for an extra half hour.
2: On the toilet, played Phantasy Star, and got lost in a horrible maze with pits, but found an Iron Claw.
3: Just to be different, I was following the 'torpedo' tech tree in SE4. After going halfway, I quit and checked the data files to see if it was worth my time. It wasn't.
4: Decided to go to Illusionz to dispel boredom. It wasn't open yet.
5: Behind Illusionz was an extension of the strip mall I hadn't known existed. Following it for several blocks eventually revealed a Safeway (which I'd been looking for).
6: Driving home, my car suddenly lost steering, partially, nearly causing me to ram into a parked car at 10mph.
7: The Smoked Salmon cream cheese I got to go with the blueberry bagels doesn't. At all.
This doesn't look good. Two indications of trouble, three of poor judgment. But also three of serendipity, so I should be okay. }:)
Now excuse me while I go wash out my mouth with soup.
