Well, fucking cable, too. The Cable keeps cutting on and off -- on for 30 seconds, off for 30 seconds, on for a few minutes, off for 10 seconds, on for a minute, off for five...
You know, like there's a loose wire or something. But it's not an *outage*, so the cable company won't send anyone to fix it. Instead, they'll send out a repairman to come into my apartment and... I don't know, maybe tell them to fix the fucking lines? Since it's obviously not anything in my apartment going wrong?
"We don't have an outage reported in your area..."
"Um... I'm reporting an outage?"
"But it's not an outage, is it? Since you've got partial service."
Keep in mind that partial service means NO INTERNET because it takes longer for the fucking router and the fucking cablemodem to reinitialize after each outage of longer than half a second than the uptime lasts (it takes them about five minutes), so I have very very little connectivity.
Normally I'd go to work so that I could at least whine about this on LJ, but work's shut down for the weekend.
