I almost went to work naked today -- I found myself trying to shove my ID cards and such into my pocket so that I could leave the apartment and head to work, and only when I kept failing over and over did I realize that I was standing there in my undewear.

Yeah, I didn't get much sleep last night. In related news, the 'Taco Pizza' from Papa Murphey's is kind of disgusting. If it makes you wake up repeatedly in the middle of the night to take an emergency... er, emergency, then don't say I didn't warn you, even though I only sort of did implicitly.

Other disappointments: I restarted D+D Tactics with a new party that didn't have any druids, since druids were nerfed. Psions, it turns out, were also kind of nerfed -- they have some vigor, which is insanely overpowered, but most of their offensive spells are variations on 'single target damage to X' that don't mention in the description that this one is ranged touch but ignores SR, this one always hits unless SR stops it, and this one has a will negates. Although I remember which is which from when I was actually playing a psion.

More importantly, they don't have a specialty like all psions in actual 3.5 psionics do. Most of the good powers are attached to one specialty or another. More more importantly, all their spells are *really short ranged*.

My main character's a psychic warrior, who's in better shape because he mostly wants to buff himself up and then go melee anyway. Some of the bugs/simplifications in their implementation work in his favor -- psychic weapon just plain applies to every melee attack, for example. Others... not so much. Speed of Thought says it works in light or medium armor, but actually turns itself off if you put on medium armor. I guess I shouldn't have sold his light armor before testing that...
