Bad Checks

terryclothSo, a week ago I sent the check back to Ruth asking her to send me a new check, and yesterday it arrived. With my name mispelled. I noticed this while heading into the bank, with the check already endorsed and the deposit slip filled out.
So, I asked the teller, "Can I cash this? She mispelled my name." He went to talk to his manager for a very long time, but the answer was 'yes'.
So, hopefully, that's the end of that. Well, almost. Once the money actually appears in my account, I'll fill out the confirmation form that Ruth wanted saying that I'd been paid.
She did this on purpose, I'm sure of it, to punish me for sending back the original check. I mean, I would have. Or at least I would have thought about it. }:P
