Also, a rare sighting of 'software piracy == maritime piracy', although unfortunately not the first. I hear 'piracy = theft' all the time (which is itself a distortion), but that's just silly.
(and yes, most of the 'piracy = theft' people are trying to assign the value of theft to piracy, so nya)
