terryclothGot invited to a special '10 year rewards dinner' at work, since apparently I've been working here 10 years. I had some trouble deciding whether I wanted to go to it...
Bad: It's on a Friday night, so it would conflict with a Shadake game.
Bad: It's in seattle, downtown, at night -- very few buses, the tail end of rush hour traffic, and parking would be a bitch.
Bad: It's formal dress.
Bad: I wouldn't know anyone there.
When I finally realized I couldn't think of anything to put on the 'good' side of the ledger, and the only reason I was even considering going was because it was probably expected of me, I RSVP'd that I couldn't make it.
