terryclothGot home today to find a summons for Jury Duty in my mailbox. I hate getting summoned for jury duty, because aside from it being really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really boring, I have nothing but contempt for the legal system and all its proceedings. And that's a crime. And I'm not a good liar.
Specifically, I'm worried that (a) the judge will get pissed off at me in Voir Dure if I make too many trivial objections when they ask about the sort of things that would make you inappropriate for the case, or that (b) I'll fall asleep during the trial. Just like I always did in class, in college.
But the date isn't for another month or so, so I refuse to worry about it until I can stop worrying about the taxes I still haven't been able to file, thanks to the stupid partnership crap.
(but my lawn gets wet 'tho I've withheld my consent)
