Curse you, game freaks!
Feb. 22nd, 2006 01:27 pmBased on a review I read, I got 'Drill Dozer', which is, in fact, a very fun little platformer for the GBA. Unfortuantely, it relies heavily on the use of the shoulder buttons. HEAVILY. As in 'it's impossible to go one screen without using them several times.' Certain actions are only performed by switching from one shoulder button to the other with reasonable timing.
After about two hours of playing it, my shoulder buttons were worn out, and don't work anymore. The fracking game broke my GBA.
Penny Arcade had a very funny rant/comic picking on Grandia III today. Highlight: Bats hang from this bar!
As for Grandia III itself... so far, the moral seems to be 'Young people should follow their dreams, for only through crashing and burning 20 times and hurting the ones they love will they become properly bitter and cynical.' I'm still on disk 1, though, getting another Lem fruit so that Schmidt will build Yuki's 21st plane to crash.
