So far, the cold has stayed slight. Spent the weekend playing City of Villains, Civ IV, and started in on Grandia III, which is a lot like Grandia I and II and Extreme. Which is a good thing.

The mana eggs in this one (mana eggs seem to change in every game) just provide a bonus to the power of your magic of a certain type, like in I, but are equippable items you can swap around, like in Extreme (and maybe II, I don't remember II very well).

Sunday, I went and played magic, mostly -- even after going back to Legend's I pretty much just played magic. Slox was playing a horrible extended Elf deck, and was doing Havoqx's old trick of immediately conceding if the opposing deck didn't instantly roll over and die -- the first time, sure, it was 'the turn after I emptied my hand, your shard phoenix killed all my critters'. That was understandable. The next time, though, it was 'your electrolyze killed my two priests of Titania, and I only have one land'. And a seeker of skybreak. And a llanowar elf. And almost nothing in the deck that costs more than two.

Legend showed selected scenes from Twister -- the tornado scenes. He fastforwarded past the tedious relationship scenes with laughably bad acting. Not that people weren't laughing at the mistakes in the tornado scenes...

Also, people kept wanting me to trade my multilands for other multilands... and I let them, more or less. Every time I make a trade like that (for something that's equally useful to me instead of more useful) I have this horrible sinking sensation that I'm being ripped off... although I find it hard to beleive that (say) the izzet shockland is worth more than the orzhov shockland.
