terryclothI don't know what's up with the Monday game. Patrick left, so we were going to play Exalted, but then Jen decided she didn't like fantasy games or any game she didn't already know the rules to, which meant white wolf or shadowrun or a bunch of games I never hear of (KULT?).
So it looks like we might end up playing Hunter, since I refused outright to play Vampire. [shudder] I would have gone for werewolf or mage...
Not sure who's going to GM. The only scheduling-related thing I've heard is that she wants us to come over to her house to watch some old british miniseries? Uh... okay...
Anyway, after dealing with that e-mail thread at (aka 'in lieu of') work, I got home, did some 'rp', and then tried to play CoV. Well, I successfully played, I guess, although I had soooo many deaths with miss Snowflake that it stopped being annoying, went right past frustrating, and punched into the 'funny' range. The first was when I decided to take on a lone +2 slag golem lieutenant, not realizing that he was immune to slows... the second was when I tried to take on a lone +1 slag golem minion, not realizing that his three friends were chucking rocks at me until I suddenly noticed my health was red.
I think it was the tenth or so when I finished off the mezzing boss only to be killed by his two minions becuase I didn't realize I was immobilized? There was some teaming in the middle, that was also full of much death, most of it similarly my own fault.
Somehow, I ended the night out of debt. Dunno how I pulled THAT off.
