I didn't see much of my family this weekend, so it was a pretty good visit, as visits go. Also, little Stevie is getting old enough to be interesting... of course, Anna's pregnant with another to make sure the babiness continues in full effect for the forseeable future -- they plan to have three, total. I guess figuring that they can take one of my alottment since the chance of my ever having kids is pretty slim.

The classic game for us to play is Mario Party... this time, Alex rented Mario Party 7, which was actually pretty good. The new game modes added something -- we played the mountain map where it's always a race to the top, then Neon Heights where there were three treasure chests that *might* have stars in them. And I'm not just saying it was good because I won both times!

Not having the microphone was annoying, though -- there was an option to use the controller instead, but it didn't really work acceptably.

Sunday was... silly. I told Tom I might not make it to his game because I didn't know what family had planned. Family thought that I was going to be at Tom's game, and made plans not to include me. So I went to the game... and halfway through, they called and wondered where I was -- they'd made plans for me to be gone that *night*, instead of during the afternoon. It all worked out okay, though -- they went to the children's museum without me (not so interesting for adults), and then we got together for dinner and stuff afterwards.

Now I'm officially on vacation, and I'll be resting and lazing around as soon as I finish all the chores that were too much trouble to take care of while also enduring a work week. Today, a checkup at GHC. Tomorrow, getting my car looked at. And then... who knows?! Hopefully I'll remember to stock up on food before christmas...
