terryclothSo last night, instead of going to the story circle (since we'd just had a story circle Monday), I got online with Findra et al to do some city of heroes. Everyone was in SG mode earning 'prestige', although since I don't have City of Villains it doesn't really help me -- it's just for base building.
Wow, Meemie, the sonic/sonic defender I made for that SG, is just incredibly bad solo. I got beaten up and killed by a single even-level lieutenant. I can't even blame ED or I5 because she's still level 12 using trainings, and neither sonic set got nerfed in I5. They were *added* in I5. }:P
Sadly, It's hard to quantify how much I'm helping the team... she might just be an incredibly bad character in general.
You know... I bet she has an I6 respec. Maybe I should respec her out of sonic siphon... it misses a lot, it's clumsy to use, it's only useful at all solo (30% -res on a single target is not noticeable on teams; it's better to use the 15% area-effect -res from Howl) and she can't solo at all *anyway*.
It might be a bad idea to respec in the middle of a task force, though. I understand there are some issues with buying and selling...
Aaanyway, I started another character on that server that's a lot more fun to play -- Flamekin, a sort of fire-elemental counterpart to K'Teri, fire control/kinetics. Hot Feet rulez! I spent most of last night (after the SG thing broke up) duoing with a fire/axe tank. Hot Feet goes well with kinetics, since both want you to be standing right next to the enemies.
