Over the weekend...

terryclothI set up my DVR to only save a few episodes of each program, so that I wouldn't have to keep deleting them by hand every few days.
I got Terishaell up to 21 doing quests in Nek forest (apparently, I've been accepted as a candidate for the guardians of Neriak. o.o;), then up to 22 zone-clearing with a group in Stormhold. Almost everything was green or blue except for the white 'torrents' that would swoop past and kill everyone every few minutes, although we took down three of them -- they were doable if we were organized and not in the middle of another fight.
Then I spent sunday morning getting no xp with her as I cleared out a bunch of old quests that involved killing grey things. I hate scholar demini so much, but for some reason I feel compelled to keep doing his quests. Which generally involve slaughtering hundreds of harmless woodland creatures just in case they happened to eat a bit of paper, only to discover that it wasn't them after all.
Why isn't there a title, 'Hunter of small furry woodland critters'?
In City of Heroes, I got Cinnamon up to 28th and took Stealth, which has been pretty helpful... but it slows down hover, which I didn't expect. Normally, this would be easy enough to compensate for (just put another slot into hover at 29th), but I've cultivated all my contacts to the point where they'll sell me stuff, and none of them are willing to sell me level 30 flight speed SOs. Or any SOs, for that matter. It's very very frustrating, because the level 25 SOs won't last another level, so as soon as I hit 29th hover will be instantly useless until 32 when I can get35s, assuming that SOs follow the pattern of DOs and the 'stores' sell all the different types at that point.
I visited the level 35 'store' to see if maybe it sold 30s too, but she won't sell me anything until I do a mission for her and she won't give me the mission yet. Grr.
Aside from MMORPGs, I went to the gathering Sunday, only to remember after I got there that since there was some stupid 'gay pride' festival going on that day, no one was going to show up. For some reason, even the people who aren't gay tend to go to that thing. Way to not paint furry as a sexual fetish, guys!
There were a couple people around, but no one to play magic with, which means it'll be another two weeks before I maybe get to try out the Saviors decks, unless I try using magic workstation or something. We went to Legend's, but he wanted to show off his new speaker wires, which meant nature videos and stuff. AND he wouldn't let me use his computer. Sniffle. So I left relatively early.
I'm really sleepy this morning, I don't know why. I got plenty of sleep last night and the night before.
