terryclothI haven't been updating much recently -- I've been busy. Well, except for Saturday. I probably could have updated Saturday. I was the opposite of busy Saturday -- I spent the whole day messing around with Unhinged cards and playing Ratchet and Clank UYA. I ordered one of those Dominos double-melt pizzas, because they looked good in the commercial... eh. I like the normal pizzas a lot better, although the d-m version is good cold. The stuff between the crusts is too much like american cheese, basically. Or maybe butter.
Unhinged is neat. I got two Meddling Kids and built a deck... well, not *around* them, really, but near them. Staying Power, Look At Me, I'm R+D, and Form of the Squirrel all look like they have potential for decks to be built around them -- I got one of each, and I want more. Unfortunately, the card shop isn't selling singles yet.
Sunday, there was the D+D game I summarized, and afterwards I headed over to Legend's. I called ahead to make sure he was actually having people over, because I always feel awkward being the only person there with someone... but by the time I got there, most everyone had already left, if they'd even come in the first place. There were two people there, who literally said 'We have to go' the instant I came in the door.
I ended up staying there a loooong time anyway, though. Legend showed the Little Nemo movie (the first half was good, the second somewhat disappointing -- but hey, gratuitous squirrel!), then talked about his art for hours and hours and hours... I finally escaped at 11:30pm. I'm glad I got out when I did, because I needed to go to bed early to be ready for Monday.
Monday was classified.
Today I'm on vacation, since I still have my 'floating holidays' for the year that I never used. Today I slept in late, walked an extra half hour to make up for the walk I didn't have time to take Monday, went to the card shop and discovered they weren't selling Unhinged singles, and then tried to watch 'Jesus Christ, Superstar', only to find that the DVD was busted, and stopped working halfway through. I got it in a bargain bin, but still. GRR.
Other than that, I honestly don't know wher all the time went. Huh.
