Musical Chairs... er, parking spaces

The new news from the apartment manager is that we're supposed to stay in the west half of the lot -- the part that's newly resurfaced -- today, tomorrow, and thursday, while they spray the east half. Unfortunately, the east half -- which all the cars couldn't quite fit in -- is by far the larger half, especially when they use cones to block off about a quarter of the spaces in the west half for no apparent reason -- it's the area the recycling bins used to be in, but they aren't there anymore, and they NEVER needed THAT much space. I'd bet a few dollars that people will be parked in it when I get home tonight, cones or no.

Last night, in anticipation of this (well, actually, I had to stop at home after work to pick up my characters for the Dark Sun game, and saw the note on the door) I parked in the west half, so I should be good as long as I don't use my car until Friday. So, today, I took the bus, and there's no reason I can't do that for the rest of the week.

Well, except that it involves lots of boring waiting, since I don't know the bus schedule. Maybe I should look it up.
