terryclothThat's where the Honda dealership is. I had to take the car in for maintenance today, and told them I'd be waiting for it, since it was only supposed to take two or three hours.
"What? But we have you down here getting the car back at 6!"
Now, I vaguely remembered on the phone answering a question that went something like "If you decide NOT to wait for it, what time would you need it back?" "Oh, whenever, I'm not really doing anything else," but that was after making it quite clear repeatedly that I was planning to wait for it, since I didn't have a ride, or any really good prospects for getting one. Note to self: Do not answer hypothetical questions over the phone.
Anyway, it wasn't a big deal -- I told them that yes, I was waiting, because I didn't have a ride, and they moved it up. "Will 1:30 be okay?" That was 3 and a half hours, which was close enough (I'd brought the complete set of Thieves and Kings GNs to read)...
But before waiting, I spent some time walking around Factoria, looking in all the little shops in the strip malls. The stores weren't very interesting, but there were lots of hills and stairs and ramps, and the weather was good, so I blew an hour on that fairly pleasantly...
And they actually finished with my car by noon. Go fig.
Then I bought another set of 'Giants of Legends' D+D figurines, and got nothing but duplicates -- even the big critter was just yet another Treent. Also, Taco Bell misheard 'extra onions' as 'no onions', and I broke my keychain trying to get the pathalogically thick car key back onto it.
Now I'm ripping some Barenaked Ladies, which means braving the firewire port. Wish me luck. }:P
