I'm not interviewing for anything, thank god, but they have me doing interviews again. I hate doing interviews.

I ducked out of the last three interview cycles after three disastrous attempts, where I asked crap questions and learned nothing of import, and had my recommendation reversed in every case (both from 'no' to 'hire' and vice versa). I'm not a good interviewer. Putting me in the interview loop means worse interviews. It's that simple.

But this time, mail was sent around making it absolutely clear that *everyone* was expected to participate, so... yeah. I spent last night (and the weekend, and yesterday at work, and friday) trying without much success to come up with some decent interview questions to ask, and finally came up with something I thought would be appropriate -- something really easy for anyone with any experience, but that might be tough for someone just out of college.

Except that NOW that I finally get the damn resume (this morning), it's not a college graduate. It's someone whose sixth job was working for this same company I'm at at about the same time I was hired, and who shows every indication of being utterly more qualified for any position here than I am. Great. Just great.

I guess I can ask my stupid question and see if he's totally incompetent. Experience doesn't *automatically* mean that he isn't an idiot, I suppose. What else can I do?

EDIT: After wondering why there was no feedback from the previous interviewers, I checked the date again and discovered that it's actually happening *tomorrow*. Doh.
