Ninja Argh
Apr. 14th, 2004 12:06 pmNinja Gaiden has to be the most frustrating game that I still find myself wanting to play. It probably wasn't a good choice to go play last night after logging off in a bad mood. }:P Somehow, having the ordinary enemies that you have to fight in groups of three magically grab onto you and slit your throat over and over isn't as calming as one might hope.
The *annoying* part was the next boss, of course -- I hope there's some trick to fighting him that I just didn't get, because I barely scratched him before running out of healing potions. I'm hoping the trick isn't 'start over and use the special attack that gives extra money if you can pull it off on all the enemies so that you can upgrade your weapons and buy more healing potions'. But it might be.
I also built a 'revenge of the lightning bolt' all-commons deck that's pretty much designed to defeat the 'revenge of the cheesy black weenies' all-commons deck that crushed me last weekend. I'm not sure it'd actually win, though -- there aren't any good shadow creatures in red or green, which is the cheese move the black deck used.
