Good Morning, Sunshine
Apr. 11th, 2004 02:39 amI saw Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind today, since everyone was raving about how good it was. God, the movie made me want to kill myself.
But in a good way. No, really, I liked it, but I had a hard time driving home afterwards. I *sort* of understand why I had that reaction, I guess.
Anyway, I didn't think it could be done, but Jim Carrey somehow managed not to ruin a movie. There's a first time for everything!
I also picked up the new Psionics Handbook for D+D 3.5 while getting the week's comics, and in a way it's a disappointment, as it's essentially the same system as before... they did clean up a lot of the clunkier and sillier bits -- you don't have bonus spells based on Strength anymore, and psionic powers can get better with caster level. I'll have to give the list of powers a look and see if it's actually usable now.
