This week, I've been working on the 'moonies' episode of the scifi game I'm running on Fridays. And I keep confusing myself.
See, the premise of the moon in the game is that instead of money, they work entirely on barter of goods and services, tracked by an omniscient computer who assigns the 'fair' value to every transaction -- including implicit transactions, down to the level of holding open a door for someone.
Debt is nontransferrable, but if you're in debt to someone they can ask you to do something, and if it would cost them no more than what you owe, you have to do it. Or else suffer a hit to your credit rating, which determines how likely the computer thinks it is that you'll ever pay off your debts, which determines how much debt someone incurs by killing you.
I still think it's a neat idea, but I anticipate some difficulty acting as the omniscient computer system. }:P
I also made YET ANOTHER magic deck, modifying an existing 'soldiers and equipment' deck into a red/white deck with white creatures that don't tap to attack (to combo with Vulshak Gauntlets and Leonin Bolas) and red direct damage. Somewhat to my surprise, it handily defeated all my other decks.
I took it online to try it against someone else's deck, and went up against a weenie swarm deck, which was basically shut down by my Walls of Hope, after which we proceeded to fling creature destruction at each other, never actually getting into quite good enough of a position to attack. And then I lost the connection. Argh!
