More magic, and... urgh. x.x
Mar. 31st, 2004 10:13 amFollowing Remus' suggestion, I tried out 'Magic Workstation', which (a) works on my laptop, and (b) has a chat program to find random pick-up games. It's also a generally more complete program than Apprentice. It's also, unfortunately, not free, although it's like $20 or something, so that's not a big concern.
The crippleware version doesn't let you test decks except in 'mirror matches' (against the same deck), and my elvish rage mk II deck, when played againt itself, can never lose, thanks to the Wellwishers and Hivemasters. Therefore, it can also never win. Until someone gets decked. And given its complete lack of card drawing, that will be the person who drew first. I should probably fix that flaw, if I intend to actually play with the deck. I could add Taunting Elves, but I'm *using* all my Taunting Elves in decks that are fun to play.
Erf. I'm feeling generally icky right now. I don't think I have a cold or anything, but there are a bunch of random minor physical ailments that are adding up to 'me no feel good'. I hope it goes away soon.
