Run for the Shadows!
Mar. 12th, 2004 10:29 amWith all the gloom and doom lately about outsourcing and terrorism, I think it's obvious that the only thing that can save us now is if magic suddenly returns to the world, transforming people into various creatures, and civilization collapses in a massive upheaval. By 'we' I mean 'the people living in Seattle's East Side', of course, who get to become shadowrunners. Everyone else is just screwed.
I had a dream last night that involved riding down a hill on a bike through heavy traffic, while my three passengers complained about my driving and choice of routes, even though the lane we wanted was wide open because all the traffic was getting onto the freeway. It turned into a more adventurey thing later on, but I don't remember that part now.
I'm at a point in the Shadake game I have to run tonight (assuming no one's horribly ill) where I can't really plan ahead much -- the party has to decide what they're going to do about some stuff, and they could do just about anything. Or, they could do nothing, and try to wait it out, which means I'd want to have had some stuff prepared and will have to wing it. Gah.
