terryclothThere was a gathering at Crossroads. I went. Talked to people, etc. Had some awful teriyaki, from the same place I had good teriyaki last time. Pfeh.
Most of the group went to Seattle afterwards to see a Miyazaki exhibit at the children's museum. I was sort of tempted -- because, you know, it's where everyone was going -- but I decided it was too much trouble and expense, what with parking and the cost of admission, and my lack of interest in seeing a museum exhibit about Miyazaki.
So I eventually went over to Tasho's instead, although there were a couple hours with four of us -- five, if you include Mikit's dad -- sitting around wondering why we were still sitting around instead of going over to Tasho's. Of course, when we got there, the answer presented itself, as everyone ELSE there was playing Halo, and there was really nothing to do but watch, or sit on the side and do silly things. Mikit wrapped herself up in her clothing until she couldn't see or move, and got rolled around the floor for a while. Etc.
But nothing interesting was happening, so I went home relatively early, and played some Champions of Norrath. It's... a lot like Dark Alliance. A LOT.
