There was a fire alarm last night around midnight, so I took a nice long drive around Lake Sammamish and out past Fall City and North Bend. It struck me how few people there were on the roads out that way, though... it's a really pretty drive at night. Or maybe I'm the only one that thinks pitch black with a few scattered lights here and there is pretty.

Been playing Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel. It's pretty fun; a *lot* like Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance, though. Only more cursing, and less magic, which means fewer special abilities and therefore somewhat less fun. It's also really heavy into the palette swapping -- beware the dreaded BLACK rat! Or the fearsome green scorpion!
