I hate everything tonight
Feb. 27th, 2009 12:37 amFirst I tried writing some glow bugs, but I keep falling into the same old trap of writing a long, boring, talky scene where nothing happens and no one does anything interesting and the only reason it's there is because something needs to go between scene A and scene B and I'm too stupid to think of what should go there to not suck.
Then I tried to get on Spindizzy, but Findra's gone and deleted the directions to her hangout, but everyone's still hanging out there. WHY DO PEOPLE DO THAT?! Lurking about in private areas is what kills MUCKs dead. I guess it's not *quite* as bad as the last jerk to pull something similar -- at least she left it on wa so that people can beg for a teleport or something, instead of just thinking the whole MUCK's empty, like happened on Furtoonia. Still, the at-least-secondhand explanation for why she'd decided to go out of her way to make things difficult for people was not flattering at all.
So I tried watching Heroes and... it was so... fucking... lame... "Oh no! A person you've been torturing was able to fight back and kill one of her torturers! Obviously that means that these people deserve being tortured because they're almost as dangerous as a man with a gun."
So next up on the parade of frustration... Assassin's Creed. Still as cheatingly arbitrary standing in for difficulty as ever. Yeah, fuck that game, I don't think I want to play it again ever. The series can get back to me when it pulls its head out of its ass.
So now my head's just buzzing and the thought of doing anything is making me pre-emptively want to pull my hair out because I *know* it's going to suck. I'd go to sleep except that with the fucking bloating that's been a nightly exercise in even more frustration, trying to find a position that minimizes the pain from my shoulders and stomach and still leaves me able to breathe.
