Fear the Beards!

Sunday we played some 4e D+D. It went pretty well, but Tom was acting extremely bored (playing Go instead of paying attention to the game, or leaving to get something out of his car when his turn came up in combat), and we kept frustrating Eric with our general timidity.

Glow Bugs 13

This was originally a very long chapter, most of it taken up by a really long, really really boring fight scene, where the enemies mostly stood around doing nothing for no good reason, and the obstacles faced by the glowbugs were difficult-to-follow and somewhat contrived tactical considerations relating to the falloff of repulsor strength vs. range.

So I took that part out, and put back in the theme that I'd started working with but forgotten about while writing up the big stupid battle scene. So now it's a really short chapter, but the horribleness seems to have been sucessfully removed.

IN THIS EPISODE OF GLOW BUGS, Era and the glowbugs decide to leave home at last, on a quest in search of ADVENTURE! But when Jink and Litany fall victim to a fiendish trap set by the nefarious Candy, can the rest of the party pull together to rescue them, or will the glowbugs' adventure degenerate into PVP?
