Chapter 4 of Space Otters is not coming along well. Basically, I have a bunch of scenes that I think would be cool, but a lot of them also seem to be mutually exclusive.
And every plotline I try to work out ends with Four Black Griffons dying. Which is a problem, since they contain the protagonist. Maybe Silver can take over as the hero?
I guess I could always do the cop-out thing and have a heavily armed warship show up and kick over the table. That works pretty well when GMing.
But I'm running into a common problem with my stories -- I've done a good job of utterly screwing over the heroes, and my vague idea for how they were going to get out of it doesn't hold up under closer scrutiny.
