Rock Star?
Mar. 27th, 2008 03:59 pmWell, I finally decided to go buy tax software even if I hadn't gotten my printer quite fixed yet. I need to eventually make printouts of the forms and stuff, but that can happen after filing, and the filing deadline is coming up pretty quickly.
While I was there, I bought a Guitar Hero I and II combo pack and the DVD of the Last Unicorn. Wow, that movie was... not good. Horribly, horribly animated and especially horribly voice acted. I need to read the book, I think. I don't have the book, though -- it was my mom's. Well, probably still is my mom's, but I don't live anywhere near her anymore.
Er, and Guitar Hero is Guitar Hero. I never really thought it was *that* cool and I still don't, but I've been bothered by my inability to handle hard mode in Rock Band when family comes over, so I must pratice the evil orange note! Also, it's a rhythm game and I like those, so it's not like it's work.
I just wish it had trippy background videos and interstital cut-scenes, like Um Jammer Lammy or Gitaroo Man.
...of course, now I can't get 'smoke on the water' out of my head.
