Movie Night?
Apr. 12th, 2005 10:22 amWe didn't have a D+D game yesterday; Jeff is still busy and Dave was sick, and Patrick mysteriously didn't show up (probably assuming it was cancelled). After considering playing board games or something, Stacey and Ed and I went out to see Sahara, which was far less like Indiana Jones than I would have hoped, and far more like it than Ed hoped, since he kept whining about how 'weak' it was every time something absurd happened.
In an all-too-standard movie twist, the link between the ancient ironclad and the mysterious illness hinted at in the previews was a red herring. Unfortunately, there was no actually existing link to replace it as a means of connecting the characters to each other, so this meant that the movie was based entirely around stupid coincidences.
It had its moments, though.
