"I already rolled up the next section of the map, so you have to navigate."

We did some more solitaire D+D last night, which meant that I got to fall into new and exciting types of pits. I never seem to roll up any other kind of trap -- just pits. Usually with spikes.

Near the end of the session, we were attacked by a wandering dragon, while exploring an inexplicable (randomly generated) maze of 5' wide passages, that I'd been describing as a 'burrow'. Oh, I guess we're in a dragon's lair!

Despite taking it down below half before the poor dragon got to move, it was almost a TPK, because Speckles decided that the dragon was gone for good, and went swimming looking for its treasure. Fire doesn't work so well underwater, although in 3.5 that's only if you fail your psicraft. Which he did. And, he can't swim. x.x

But he managed to kill it, more or less on his own, because psions are ridiculously powerful. Especially unkillable Elan psions. But even without that... there's a reason that the Monday night group (the Darksun game) is slowly migrating to an 'all psion' format, as the non-psions are marginalized or killed off.

However, in solitaire, at least, I got to flex my muscles as a druid by changing into a bear and dragging the sledge carrying the 1500 pounds of silver we found in the dragon's hoard.
