Snowwy wants to quit the friday game, now. The moustaches appearing on peoples' faces on TV remind me that it *is* April Fools, but (a) he sent the e-mail before midnight, and (b) he's done this twice before. I guess I can hope he changes his mind again.

See, the group is really small right now. With Shadarack, we'd still have four, which is the minimum I'm really comfortable with, but Shadarack is hardly enshrined as a reliable member yet -- hell, we don't even know for sure that he's coming home from his trip to California.

It might not matter anyway, though, since Lazar might have to go back to Ohio to look for a lower cost of living. Sigh. x.x

And of course, I can't help but wonder if my 'wonderful' GM skillz are what's inspiring him to leave. Although I'd expect Murdock to be the one to drop out from that, since he seems to get randomly pissed at me the most frequently.

The general malaise I was feeling earlier *is* turning into a cold, and based on what's going around it might be with me for quite a while.

The apartment managers are staging another inspection of everyone's apartments on yet another shakey pretense (to check for broken windows? Um... you could walk around the outside of the building to do that) although it doesn't really matter much for me, for a change, since they STILL haven't finished with my damn bathroom and I've had to keep the apartment clean all month.

And now everyone gets to lie to me all day and I'm supposed to laugh. Actually, I may be overstating this, since I normally don't really care if people lie to me, but getting constantly bombarded with it might get old.

On the bright side, there might be some interesting april fools comics.

I'm not feeling nearly as sick today (when I have a stuffy nose and crap that tells me I definately have a cold) as I did yesterday and Tuesday (where my head and teeth ached, and I felt generally ick). So maybe I'm mostly over it. Here's hoping.

I also had several good games on Magic Workstation last night, although it's hard to tell ahead of time how good someone else's deck is going to be, and there are definately some glitches in the system. I played people with my silly skullclamp deck, and never saw the clamp the whole night, but still managed to win one out of four... )

South Park and the Daily Show were also kind of funny, and Furtoonia's park seems to be more alive lately than I remember it. I should thank Effsey for accidentally luring me out there again.
